Exciting Wedding at Ambassador Hotel- Zack & Taylor’s Story

Fun & Energetic Wedding at the Ambassador Hotel in Erie Pa

This absolutely fun wedding had our team laughing the entire day. Last year newlyweds Zack & Taylor booked Silver & Sage Weddings for their wedding at Ambassador Hotel in Erie, pa. Our photography team captured moments beginning with their Engagement Session at Eaton Reservoir the previous fall.  It was obvious from that session that the wedding at Ambassador Hotel the following year was going to be….LIT. And it was.

Working alongside our photo team was our Wedding Film Team and our Wedding Photo Booth Rental.

In addition to the Silver & Sage teams, the couple trusted local band, Refuge, for their musical entertainment. The Wedding at Ambassador Hotel was catered by the hotel catering staff.

Both the Bride & Groom got ready right at the hotel. Our team met up with the groom downstairs first. He and the groomsmen got ready in a conference room right off the bar area. So, after some detail and getting ready shots we took advantage of the empty bar for some group and Groom’s Portraits. The jokes and laughter didn’t stop for a moment during this time. The interaction between Zack & his dad was especially hilarious.

The Bride was upstairs having a blast with her bridal party and other close family & friends. We felt right at home capturing the laughter and teasing in the room. My favorite moments from that time was seeing the bride’s village rally around her with pizza and a drink so she wouldn’t be famished during the ceremony. We had just enough time for some gorgeous bridal portraits in front of the large floor to ceiling window in the room before the bride’s dad snuck in for a first look. After a quick peak and a big hug we were ready to head downstairs.

The entire party headed downstairs to the Atrium for the indoor ceremony. As luck would have it, it rained all day for this wedding at Ambassador Hotel. So, every moment of the day was spent dry and comfy inside. The staff at the hotel had carefully prepared the alter area and everything went off without a hitch….but was of course filled with tons of laughter. At one point, or maybe 2 or 3 points, the bride was doubled over in laughter. It was hard not to join in and remember that we were capturing this day!

Formal photos took place with family and bridal party right inside the Atrium while the guests walked over to the Crystal Ballroom for cocktails. Due to the rain, the hotel staff allowed our team to use the Hemingway Room for some additional photos of the newlyweds before the Grand Entrance.

The Crystal Ballroom was decorated to match the couples theme: Wine & Dine…it’s Wedding Time! The rich, deep fall colors were stunning. And, the reception that followed was just as fun and lively as the day had been up to that point. The cake cutting, speeches, and even the couples first dance was light-hearted and left us laughing. In addition to cake, the couple served adorable and DELISH mini desserts like chocolate peanut butter pies! This energetic wedding at Ambassador Hotel will live in our memories for a long long time.

If you’re in love with this Love Story you’ll be able to view more on our Youtube Channel after their final film edits are finished. Zack & Taylor ordered our Documentary Style Film Edit so none of the laughter would be left out. We’ll come back and post the link soon.

And Don’t stop at checking out this fun wedding. You can see all of our recent projects at Ambassador Hotel on their location page: (Page coming soon!!)
