Fall Maternity Session
We met up with Marygail & Jeff on a warm late September afternoon at Asbury Woods Nature Preserve in Millcreek, PA to take advantage of all the woods have to offer. Marygail’s vision for her Fall Maternity Shoot was a woodland fairytale. With the creek nestled between rock overhangs and the moss covered trees, Asbury Woods was an idylilc scene for this shoot.
We began by hiking together down to the creek where we took advantage of the calm water. Marygail donned a gorgeous white maternity gown. Her adventurous spirit shone through as she waded right into the water to a rock perfectly positioned for some fun reflection photos. Dad, Jeff, stood close by to help avoid any slips or falls.
Fall Flowers Pop
After we took full advantage of the soft scenery and still water of the creek bed, we traveled on to find a meadow location. With luck, we found an open field full of Golden Rod. These vivid gold flowers were an ideal setting to compliment this Fall Maternity Shoot. We positioned Marygail & Jeff in the field of golden beauty and captured some intimate moments of the couple. Marygail’s dark hair and crown of deep red flower buds popped so well against the bright warmth of the Golden Rod field.
Moss Covered Scenery
Following the soft, warm goldeness of the field we decided to explore deeper in to the woods. We didn’t have to go far before we found an exceptional area to lay our expecting fairytale mom down. The moss covered tree trunk fit Marygail’s Fall Maternity Shoot better than we could have hoped for. The images we captured at this fallen tree are my favorite from the entire shoot. Marygail looks just like the beautiful damsel from a fantasy tale.
Under the Moonlight
We finished up this outstanding Fall Maternity Shoot in the moonlight under a crecent moon. Marygail changed into a deep purple dress that fit the feel of the twilight hour. It was an absolutely amazing way to end this magical shoot. I can’t wait to capture this little one’s newborn photos in a few weeks.
